What happened to my generation?

Swedish house mafia just released their new single “Greyhound” while teaming up with Absolut vodka in the process.  Just listened to it for the first time yesterday.  My first thoughts were: a) this is kinda mediocre and b) it sounds like the best section is just a chord progression rip of Hans Zimmer’s “Time” better known as one of the main songs from “Inception.”

It’s not really a secret that SHM seems to half-ass alot of things whether it’s copy-pasting whole loops from sample libraries, or just playing pre-recorded sets “in order to sync up with fireworks”.  I’d love to talk more about it, since there are plenty of angles one can take on their multiple controversies, but real work beckons :/
